What You'll Do as a Sit-Down Forklift Operator:
- You’ll be working in an outdoor conduit yard environment operating sit-down LP forklifts while supporting order building, loading, and material movement. This is a physically active role in all weather conditions.
- Load, unload, and move materials throughout the yard and worksite
- Build and prepare custom conduit orders
- Operate sit-down LP forklifts safely and efficiently
- Use pallet jacks, cherry pickers, reach trucks, and other material handling equipment as needed
- Pack and ship customer orders accurately and on time
- Load/unload trucks to support daily operations
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-focused work environment
Skills and Experience
What You'll Bring as a Preferred Candidate:
- Experience operating forklifts or similar material handling equipment preferred
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions (heat, rain, etc.)
- Ability to lift, push, carry, and move up to 50 lbs (team lift for heavier items)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written/oral instructions
- Basic math and counting skills for order accuracy
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work a full 40-hour week
