What You'll Do as a Warehouse Receiving or Picking Clerk:
Warehouse Receiving Clerk – 1st Shift
- Unload incoming trucks and accurately sort, inspect, and check in freight.
- Use RF scanners to record inventory quantities and warehouse locations.
- Break down shipments and move palletized products to designated storage areas.
- Organize and rotate warehouse inventory as needed.
- Safely operate warehouse material handling equipment, including cherry/order pickers, walker-riders, and electric pallet jacks.
Warehouse Picking Clerk – 2nd Shift
- Locate and pick merchandise using order documents and voice-picking systems.
- Stage, check, package, and consolidate orders for shipment.
- Prepare merchandise according to customer labeling and palletizing requirements.
- Identify and report inventory shortages or discrepancies.
- Assist with order transfers, loading, and other warehouse operations.
Both Positions:
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Follow warehouse safety procedures and equipment guidelines.
- Work collaboratively to meet daily productivity and accuracy goals.
Skills and Experience
What You'll Bring as a Preferred Candidate:
- Previous warehouse, distribution, shipping, receiving, or order-picking experience preferred.
- Forklift or powered industrial equipment experience required, with the ability or willingness to learn to operate cherry/order pickers, walker-riders, and electric pallet jacks for Receiving Clerks.
- Basic math skills and strong attention to detail.
- Dependable attendance and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach throughout the shift; lift up to 50 lbs. independently and use team assistance when repeatedly pushing or pulling carts weighing 100+ lbs., with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Willingness to work overtime as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to meet applicable post-offer background check and drug screening requirements.
