Job Summary
The Material Handler / Warehouse Associate is responsible for independently loading, unloading, moving, and organizing materials throughout the work site. This role supports daily warehouse operations by filling orders, issuing supplies, packing shipments, and maintaining a safe, clean work environment. Ideal candidates thrive in fast‑paced environments and demonstrate strong attention to detail, reliability, and physical stamina.
Skills and Experience
Primary Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and move materials independently within or near the work site.
- Fill orders and issue materials and supplies according to requests.
- Operate material handling equipment including forklifts, pallet jacks, cherry pickers, walking riders, reach trucks, EZGo carts, hand trucks, and dollies.
- Pack and ship customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Desire to work in a fast‑paced, organized, and positive warehouse environment.
- Ability to comprehend oral and written communication to read labels, tickets, and product documentation.
- Ability to frequently lift, push, carry, and slide packages up to 75 lbs.
- Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the warehouse in varying temperatures.
- Basic math skills and ability to perform accurate counts.
- Ability to work full‑time (40 hours per week).
- Strong attention to detail and time‑management skills.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
