Overview
We are looking for a highly skilled Turret Forklift Operator (also known as a Swing-Reach or VNA Operator) to manage inventory in our Very Narrow Aisle (VNA) storage system. Unlike standard forklift roles, this position requires high-level precision and the ability to operate specialized machinery where the operator cabin rises with the load.
If you have a "head for heights" and experience maneuvering heavy loads in tight spaces, we want to hear from you.
Skills and Experience
VNA Operation: Safely operate a Turret/Swing-Reach truck to pick and put away pallets in aisles with as little as 6 feet of clearance.
High-Bay Precision: Retrieve and store inventory at heights of up to [Insert Height, e.g., 40 feet], ensuring perfect alignment to avoid rack damage.
Swing-Mast Handling: Utilize the 180-degree rotating turret head to handle pallets on both sides of the aisle without turning the vehicle.
Wire/Rail Guidance: Effectively use wire-guided or rail-guided systems within the VNA zones.
Inventory Accuracy: Use RF scanners to confirm locations and update the Warehouse Management System (WMS) in real-time.
Safety & Inspection: Perform specialized daily inspections on the turret truck, including battery maintenance and harness/tether safety checks
