Overview
Package Handlers play a key role in ensuring mail and parcels are processed accurately and efficiently. Teammates work in a fast-paced warehouse environment sorting, scanning, and moving packages to support timely delivery operations.
Responsibilities
- Sort and process incoming mail and packages according to operational requirements.
- Verify package labels and address information for accuracy.
- Load packages onto conveyor systems and sorting equipment.
- Scan parcels and maintain production records as required.
- Keep work areas clean and organized.
- Meet productivity, quality, and safety standards.
- Assist in different operational areas as business needs require.
Skills and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively in a team environment.
- Basic math and sorting skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse setting.
- Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, squatting, and reaching throughout the shift.
- Ability to work in varying warehouse temperatures and conditions.
