Overview
• Operate production and assembly equipment, including injection molding and foaming equipment.
• Assemble automotive components using hand and pneumatic tools while following work instructions and torque
specifications.
• Monitor equipment performance, identify defects, and report malfunctions.
• Work within production cycle times to meet hourly production targets.
• Inspect and test finished components to verify quality standards.
• Document defects, production output, scrap rates, and quality information.
• Prepare and handle production materials, including plastics, adhesives, polyurethane components, and additives.
• Assist with mold changes, cleaning, lubrication, and basic preventive maintenance.
• Follow PPE, OSHA, Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), and chemical-handling safety procedures.
• Maintain clean, organized workstations using 5S standards.
• Collaborate with teammates to maintain production flow and minimize downtime.
• Cross-train on multiple production lines and workstations as needed.
Skills and Experience
• Minimum 1 year of mechanical or electronics assembly experience.
• Experience using hand tools and pneumatic equipment.
• Ability to read basic technical drawings and work instructions.
• Basic understanding of assembly procedures and quality standards.
• Basic English proficiency for work instructions and documentation.
• Ability to stand for up to 8 hours per shift and regularly lift up to 25 lbs.
• Manual dexterity, attention to detail, and a strong safety mindset.
