Wire Assembler Lead - Automation

Overview

We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Wire Assembler Lead to join our client's production team. This position is ideal for someone with strong electrical wiring and industrial automation experience who is comfortable taking the lead on the production floor.

  • 1st Shift | Monday – Friday | 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM

What You'll Do as a Wire Assembler Lead:

  • Lead and support Wire Assemblers in the wiring and assembly of electrical control panels and automation equipment
  • Coordinate daily workflow and help keep projects moving according to production priorities
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and engineering documentation
  • Assemble and wire electrical panels, control cabinets, and automation-related components
  • Ensure proper tools, materials, and procedures are being used
  • Reinforce workmanship, safety, organization, and production standards
  • Communicate production issues, material needs, and project concerns to management

Skills and Experience

Preferred Candidate Will Have:

  • Previous lead or team lead experience in an automation, controls, electrical panel, or similar manufacturing environment
  • 3+ years of recent electrical wiring, control panel building, wire assembly, or industrial automation experience
  • Strong ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
  • Experience wiring industrial control panels and automation equipment
  • Knowledge of electrical components commonly used in automation and control systems
  • Knowledge of NEMA and IEC electrical symbols
  • Strong understanding of proper wire preparation, routing, termination, and connection techniques
  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
  • Dependable attendance and the ability to lead by example in a production environment
