What You'll Do as an Assembly Technician:
  • Assemble industrial equipment and subassemblies using detailed work instructions and technical drawings.
  • Install mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic components with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Use hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment to ensure quality workmanship.
  • Perform equipment inspections and functional testing to verify proper operation before final approval.
  • Identify and communicate material shortages, quality concerns, or assembly issues to the production team.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area while following established safety procedures.
  • Assist with troubleshooting, adjustments, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Support other production areas as needed to help meet manufacturing goals.
  • Follow quality standards, work instructions, and company procedures throughout the assembly process.

Skills and Experience

What You'll Bring as a Preferred Candidate:
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • One to three years of manufacturing, mechanical assembly, industrial production, or maintenance experience preferred.
  • Ability to read blueprints, assembly drawings, and basic wiring diagrams.
  • Experience using hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments.
  • Basic understanding of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, or hydraulic systems.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a team-focused environment.
  • Forklift experience is a plus or willingness to become certified.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally and work in a manufacturing environment requiring standing, bending, reaching, and repetitive movement.
