What You'll Do as a Panel Builder:
- Assemble electrical control panels, junction boxes, and electrical subassemblies used in automated equipment
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring layouts, and production instructions
- Route, label, terminate, and organize wiring to ensure accurate electrical connections
- Install electrical components such as relays, switches, sensors, breakers, power supplies, and terminal blocks
- Perform electrical testing and assist with system verification procedures
- Troubleshoot wiring issues and identify corrective actions when needed
- Verify the functionality of sensors, switches, and other electrical devices
- Use hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment to complete assembly tasks
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-focused work environment
- Collaborate with engineering, production, and assembly teams to support equipment builds and project completion
- Contribute to continuous improvement efforts focused on quality, efficiency, and workplace safety
Skills and Experience
What You'll Bring as a Preferred Candidate:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Technical school training, vocational education, or related hands-on experience preferred
- Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude with a desire to learn industrial control systems
- Ability to read and understand electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical instructions
- Experience with electrical assembly, panel building, manufacturing, or industrial production environments preferred
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing equipment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
- Dependable attendance and a positive, team-oriented attitude
- Effective problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally and perform physical assembly work throughout the shift
