Maintenance Clerk – Full‑Time / Hourly

Reports To: Maintenance Manager

🛠️ Job Overview

The Maintenance Clerk provides administrative and operational support to the Maintenance Department through inventory control, purchasing coordination, preventive maintenance administration, service scheduling, and facility support activities.

📌 Key Duties

  • Maintenance Parts Ordering — Order maintenance parts, supplies, and materials as required.

  • Supplier Coordination — Obtain quotations, pricing, and follow up on orders and deliveries.

  • Purchasing Administration — Create purchase requisitions and coordinate procurement activities.

  • Receiving & Inspection — Receive, inspect, and verify incoming maintenance parts and supplies.

  • Inventory Management — Maintain organized storage locations, perform cycle counts, track inventory, and report discrepancies.

  • Preventive Maintenance Records — Log and maintain PM paperwork and maintenance records.

  • PM Scheduling Support — Track and assist with preventive maintenance scheduling.

  • Downtime Tracking — Record equipment downtime information.

  • Service Provider Coordination — Coordinate scheduled and unscheduled service providers.

  • Administrative Support — Support general maintenance administrative functions.

  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

🎯 Skills & Qualifications

  • Bilingual English/Spanish

  • Basic mechanical and electrical knowledge

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel

  • Experience with inventory tracking, purchasing, and recordkeeping preferred

  • Strong organizational and communication skills

  • Team‑oriented mindset

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required

💪 Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the facility

  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs (heavier loads with assistance)

  • Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with noise, dust, and machinery exposure
