What You'll Do as a Manufacturing Engineer:
  • Design, evaluate, and improve manufacturing processes to increase productivity, quality, and efficiency.
  • Partner with engineering, production, and quality teams to support manufacturing operations and new product launches.
  • Develop and maintain work instructions, process documentation, and standard operating procedures.
  • Lead continuous improvement projects using Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, and other process improvement methodologies.
  • Investigate production issues, identify root causes, and implement effective corrective actions.
  • Analyze production data to improve throughput, reduce waste, and optimize manufacturing performance.
  • Design and develop fixtures, tooling, and production aids that improve safety and efficiency.
  • Support new product introductions by ensuring manufacturing readiness and smooth production transitions.
  • Recommend improvements that enhance product quality, reduce costs, and increase operational efficiency.
  • Provide technical guidance and training to production and assembly teams.

Skills and Experience

What You'll Bring as a Preferred Candidate:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
  • Two to five years of experience in a manufacturing or production engineering environment.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, fabrication methods, and mechanical assembly.
  • Experience using SolidWorks or similar CAD software.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems and manufacturing documentation practices.
  • Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles, including 5S, Kaizen, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Experience supporting equipment manufacturing, metal fabrication, or industrial assembly is preferred.
  • Understanding of PLCs, pneumatic systems, and basic electrical systems is a plus.
  • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication, organization, and project management abilities.
  • Hands-on approach with the ability to collaborate across multiple departments.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to work in both office and manufacturing environments.
  • Frequently stand, walk, sit, reach, bend, and use hands throughout the workday.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
  • Ability to safely navigate a production environment while maintaining attention to detail.
