What You’ll Do as a Electrician:
- Electrical troubleshooting of equipment and facility systems throughout the plant to ensure safe, continuous, and efficient production operations.
- Reading and interpreting electrical schematics
- Using PLC systems to diagnose and correct electrical issues
- Working with industrial controls on production equipment
- Installing and repairing electrical conduit and systems throughout the facility
- Installing new electrical equipment and components
- Troubleshooting and resolving plant-wide electrical issues
- Supporting Engineering and Maintenance on new system implementations
- Assisting with special projects as needed
- Maintaining safe, reliable electrical operations across the facility
Skills and Experience
What You’ll Bring as a Preferred Candidate:
- High school diploma or GED
- 3–5 years in an electrical field
- 5–7 years in a maintenance environment
- Manufacturing experience required
- PLC training or hands-on PLC experience
- Strong wiring and electrical mechanics background
- Ability to read and use electrical testing instruments
- Skilled with hand and power tools
- Basic math and mechanical aptitude
- Basic carpentry understanding
- Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and compliance
