What You’ll Do as an Entry-Level Maintenance Technician:
- Perform scheduled preventative maintenance (PM) tasks assigned by leadership.
- Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial machinery and mechanical equipment.
- Practice and follow all OSHA, safety, machine operation, and lockout/tagout procedures.
- Diagnose equipment issues and provide effective solutions to minimize downtime.
- Read and interpret basic machine schematics with minimal supervision.
- Use hand tools, power tools, hydraulic equipment, pneumatic equipment, presses, drills, clamps, and other maintenance tools safely and effectively.
- Organize maintenance parts, materials, and work areas.
- Communicate equipment concerns and repair updates with supervisors and team members.
- Work closely with other departments to support production goals.
- Assist with additional maintenance-related duties as needed.
Skills and Experience
What You'll Bring as a Preferred Candidate:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills with familiarity using hand and power tools.
- Valid driver’s license required.
- Ability to provide personal tools as needed.
- Willingness to learn precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, indicators, gauges, etc.).
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and ability to follow directions in a team-focused environment.
- Positive attitude with a strong willingness to learn and grow.
- Ability to lift, move, and handle materials up to 50 lbs independently, with physical activity including standing, walking, bending, and reaching throughout the shift.
