Overview
The Customer Service Representative is primarily responsible for providing effective customer service to both external and internal customers through strong product knowledge, communication skills, and support of company programs and processes.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide timely and accurate information regarding customer order status and product inquiries
- Process customer orders and order changes according to department policies and procedures
- Process customer returns in accordance with company procedures
- Communicate customer concerns and service issues to management in a timely manner
- Partner with Sales Representatives to meet and exceed customer service expectations
- Respond promptly to customer requests for information
- Maintain communication with management regarding activities and reporting requirements
- Perform additional related duties as assigned
Skills and Experience
Associate’s degree in a technical or business-related field preferred, or equivalent work experience
Minimum of 2 years of experience in sales support or customer service support roles
Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel
Experience using computer systems, communication tools, and internet-based resources
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to identify and communicate business opportunities effectively
Multilingual communication skills are a plus
