What You’ll Do as a Controls Technician:
- Troubleshoot and repair PLCs, electrical systems, and manufacturing controls
- Modify and improve programming and control systems for production equipment
- Support manufacturing teams during startups, breakdowns, and continuous improvement projects
- Diagnose electrical issues using schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings
- Assist with robotics, servo systems, vision systems, and automation technologies
- Provide technical support and training to shop floor users when needed
- Help improve equipment reliability, safety, and production efficiency
- 24v and/or 48v Troubleshooting
- Allen Bradley PLC Experience
Skills and Experience
What You'll Bring as a Preferred Candidate:
- High school diploma required (Technical or Associate degree preferred)
- 2+ years of controls, automation, or electrical troubleshooting experience
- Experience with PLC ladder logic, VFDs, and servo control systems
- Ability to read electrical schematics and engineering drawings
- Experience supporting manufacturing equipment and plant floor systems
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Robotics, vision systems, or TPM experience is a plus
- Experience with Cognex, Keyence, Universal Robots, or Sinumerik systems is helpful
