Overview
Brown Lumber Supply is seeking dependable and hardworking General Laborers to support daily yard and warehouse operations. This role involves assisting with the handling, loading, unloading, and organization of lumber and building materials while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Load and unload lumber, building materials, and supplies from trucks
- Sort, stack, and organize materials in the yard and warehouse
- Assist customers and staff with locating and moving materials as needed
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards
- Operate basic hand tools and equipment safely
- Follow all safety guidelines and company procedures
- Perform general cleanup and maintenance duties as assigned
Skills and Experience
- Ability to perform physically demanding work (lifting, bending, standing for long periods)
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
- Prior warehouse, construction, or lumber yard experience is a plus, but not required
- Must be safety-conscious at all times
Work Environment:
This position works in a lumber yard/warehouse setting and may involve exposure to outdoor weather conditions, noise, and heavy materials.
