Ōnin Staffing is seeking a dependable General Laborer for a lumber yard client in the South Valley area. This position is ideal for someone who is hardworking, safety-minded, and comfortable with physical work in an outdoor yard environment.
Responsibilities
- Load, unload, move, and organize lumber and building materials
- Assist with pulling and staging customer or production orders
- Keep the yard clean, organized, and free of debris
- Help with inventory organization and material placement
- Use basic hand tools as needed
- Follow all safety procedures and yard rules
- Work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Assist team members with daily yard operations
- Complete all duties and tasks assigned by the supervisor
Skills and Experience
Requirements
- Previous general labor, construction, warehouse, or lumber yard experience preferred
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull heavy materials
- Comfortable working outdoors and standing for long periods
- Must be dependable, punctual, and ready to work
- Ability to follow instructions and work safely
- Strong work ethic and team-player attitude
- Must have required PPE: steel-toe boots, hard hat, gloves, safety vest, and safety glasses
