Overview
We’re looking for an experienced Tool & Die Technician to support metal stamping operations by servicing progressive dies, fabricating fixtures, and ensuring our tooling performs at peak efficiency. If you’re a hands-on problem solver with strong machining and precision skills, this is the perfect opportunity to grow with a stable, quality-driven manufacturer.
Monday - Thursday 4:00 PM - 2:30AM, overtime on Friday as needed
$24.00 - $28.00/hour depending on experience
Key Responsibilities
- Sharpen cutting tools for lathe operations
- Turn materials to specified diameters on a lathe
- Cut internal and external diameters and angles using lathe equipment
- Machine internal and external threads
- Operate and understand milling machines
- Apply knowledge of metal chemistry, properties, and hardness
- Perform heat treatments to achieve required hardness
- Build complete die sections
- Break down, repair, and sharpen progressive dies
- Design, maintain, and build gauges, tools, dies, and fixtures
- Set up, calibrate, and run machinery and equipment
Skills and Experience
Job Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Tool & Die Technician in a manufacturing environment
- High School Diploma or GED
Preferred Qualifications
- Trade School Certification
- Proficiency in AutoCAD
- Experience setting up and operating EDM machinery
