About the Role:
Mittera is looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Hand Assembly Lead to join our production team. This position plays a key role in ensuring that all products meet quality standards, production goals, and client specifications. The ideal candidate is bilingual in English and Spanish, organized, and enjoys leading a team in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and train a team of Hand Assembly employees to meet quality and productivity goals.

  • Identify and follow the correct quality control process for each job.

  • Ensure QC pulls are completed accurately and approvals are obtained before production proceeds.

  • Verify job counts, maintain accurate paperwork, and ensure materials are organized and returned properly.

  • Assist in setting up and completing detailed product kits, collating, sealing, and boxing.

  • Track team performance, communicate progress with supervisors, and support efficiency improvements.

  • Report any mechanical or production issues promptly.

  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment at all times.

Skills and Experience

Qualifications

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) – required.

  • Ability to read and interpret job orders, spreadsheets, safety rules, and standard operating procedures.

  • Strong communication and leadership skills.

  • Basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals).

  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and solve problems using sound judgment.

  • Must be quality-conscious, detail-oriented, and able to work near moving machinery.

  • Experience leading small teams in a manufacturing or production environment is preferred.

Work Environment

  • This position works in a hands-on production setting near moving mechanical parts.

  • Occasional exposure to fumes, airborne particles, or hazardous materials.
