About the Role:
Mittera is looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Hand Assembly Lead to join our production team. This position plays a key role in ensuring that all products meet quality standards, production goals, and client specifications. The ideal candidate is bilingual in English and Spanish, organized, and enjoys leading a team in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and train a team of Hand Assembly employees to meet quality and productivity goals.
- Identify and follow the correct quality control process for each job.
- Ensure QC pulls are completed accurately and approvals are obtained before production proceeds.
- Verify job counts, maintain accurate paperwork, and ensure materials are organized and returned properly.
- Assist in setting up and completing detailed product kits, collating, sealing, and boxing.
- Track team performance, communicate progress with supervisors, and support efficiency improvements.
- Report any mechanical or production issues promptly.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment at all times.
Skills and Experience
Qualifications
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) – required.
- Ability to read and interpret job orders, spreadsheets, safety rules, and standard operating procedures.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals).
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and solve problems using sound judgment.
- Must be quality-conscious, detail-oriented, and able to work near moving machinery.
- Experience leading small teams in a manufacturing or production environment is preferred.
Work Environment
- This position works in a hands-on production setting near moving mechanical parts.
- Occasional exposure to fumes, airborne particles, or hazardous materials.
