Overview
We are seeking experienced Maintenance Workers to support daily maintenance and facility operations. This position is responsible for inspecting, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining equipment and facility systems to help ensure safe and efficient operations.
Job Duties:
- Perform preventive and routine maintenance on equipment and facility systems
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and equipment-related issues
- Diagnose problems and complete necessary repairs or adjustments
- Perform basic electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and general facility repairs
- Inspect equipment and identify potential maintenance issues before breakdowns occur
- Replace worn, damaged, or defective parts as needed
- Use hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment safely
- Assist with equipment installation, repairs, and maintenance projects
- Keep maintenance areas clean, organized, and safe
- Follow safety procedures and company policies at all times
- Complete maintenance requests and document repairs or work performed
- Work with other departments to address maintenance needs and minimize equipment downtime
- Perform additional maintenance duties as assigned
Skills and Experience
- Previous maintenance or industrial maintenance experience preferred
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Basic knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems
- Ability to safely use hand tools and power tools
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Must be dependable and have good attendance
- Must be able to start work soon
- Must be available to work some weekends as needed
- Ability to work in an industrial environment and perform physical maintenance duties
