Overview

This is not a traditional building facilities maintenance role. We are not looking for someone to handle building upkeep, plumbing, or HVAC. Instead, we need a technician who excels at diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining specialized production machinery, electrical controls, and compact mechanical equipment. If you have strong electrical knowledge, love reading schematics to solve puzzles, and want a role focused on machinery downtime prevention, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities

  • Electrical Troubleshooting: Diagnose electrical faults, trace circuits, and repair low-voltage machinery controls and panels safely.

  • Read & Interpret Schematics: Read and accurately work from complex electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical blueprints/schematics to pinpoint equipment failures.

  • Component & Machinery Repair: Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair specialized fabrication equipment, electric motors, actuators, and mechanical assemblies.

  • Preventative Maintenance (PM): Execute scheduled PMs on production lines and specialized shop equipment to maximize uptime.

  • Precision Diagnostics: Use multimeters and other diagnostic tools to isolate issues efficiently and minimize production delays.

  • Safety & Organization: Maintain a clean, safe shop environment and strictly follow all OSHA and plant safety standards.

Skills and Experience

  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in industrial equipment maintenance, machinery repair, or a highly technical mechanical/electrical role.

  • Electrical Expertise: Strong understanding of electrical circuits, control wiring, and low-voltage systems. Proficiency with a multimeter is required.

  • Schematic Literacy: High proficiency in reading and accurately interpreting electrical and mechanical schematics.

  • Problem-Solving Mindset: A sharp mechanical aptitude—someone who can look at a unique piece of equipment, understand how it functions electrically and mechanically, and fix it.

  • Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, bend, kneel, stand for long periods, and work comfortably in an industrial plant environment.

  • Background Check: Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
