Overview
The primary responsibilities include moving and organizing materials, assisting with minor transformer rework, maintaining yard organization, and supporting general material-handling needs. Forklift operation may be required occasionally, but it is only a small portion of the position.
Schedule:
- Monday–Friday
- 6:00 AM–5:00 PM
- 1-hour lunch
- Must have flexibility to work Saturdays as needed
Skills and Experience
Responsibilities:
- Work outdoors throughout the shift
- Move, stage, and organize transformers and other materials
- Perform minor rework or basic corrections on transformers
- Assist with general yard and material-handling duties
- Use basic hand tools as needed
- Inspect materials for visible damage or issues
- Operate a forklift occasionally when needed
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Follow all safety procedures and supervisor instructions
Preferred Experience:
- Landscaping
- Roofing
- Pool installation or maintenance
- Road or construction work
- Utility or easement work
- General outdoor labor
- Material handling
- Forklift operation
Requirements:
- Comfortable working outdoors for the full shift
- Able to perform physical labor throughout the workday
- Able to lift, move, and handle materials safely
- Comfortable working in heat and changing weather conditions
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to follow safety and quality procedures
- Forklift experience is helpful but not required
- Flexibility to work Saturdays when needed
