What You’ll Do as a Warehouse Associate:
- Pick and prepare egg orders for shipment
- Move product and build secure pallets for outgoing orders
- Label and wrap finished pallets so they're ready to go
- Help load deliveries using an electric pallet jack
- Keep products and orders organized throughout the workday
- Work with the warehouse team to keep shipments moving on schedule
- Keep the cooler and warehouse clean, organized, and sanitary
- Follow workplace safety and biosecurity procedures
- Complete basic paperwork and keep order information accurate
- Pitch in with other warehouse tasks as needed
Skills and Experience
What You’ll Bring as a Preferred Candidate:
- Experience working in a fast-paced warehouse, shipping, or food distribution environment
- Comfortable working in cooler and outdoors in a non-climate controlled enviornment
- Experience operating an electric pallet jack; ability to obtain licensing/certification required
- Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic
- Ability to follow directions and work well with a team
- Comfortable staying active and working on your feet throughout the shift
- Ability to repeatedly lift up to 50 lbs.
- Basic math and computer skills
- Good attention to detail when handling products and orders
- Ability to follow safety, sanitation, and biosecurity procedures
