Overview
Our client is seeking a Cut Thread Operator to manufacture steel products in an industrial production environment. The ideal candidate is highly productive, self-motivated, dependable, and willing to learn.
Responsibilities:
- Operate cut-thread machinery to manufacture steel products.
- Read and accurately measure materials using a tape measure and micrometer.
- Make machinery adjustments throughout the workday to maintain production and quality.
- Follow production specifications and safety procedures.
- Inspect finished products for accuracy and quality.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Learn new processes and adapt to changing production needs.
- Assist with other shop duties as needed.
Skills and Experience
Experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment is preferred but not required.
Ability to read a tape measure.
Ability to use a micrometer.
Mechanical aptitude and ability to make machine adjustments.
Strong attention to detail.
Self-motivated and productive.
Ability to learn new concepts and adapt to the work environment.
