What You’ll Do as a Mechanical Assembler:
- Assemble and install mechanical, hydraulic, or electrical components according to technical blueprints and work orders.
- Safely operate various hand tools and specialized equipment within your assigned production cell.
- Perform thorough quality inspections and rework as needed to ensure components meet project specifications.
- Test installed parts to confirm proper performance and operational standards.
- Support team efficiency by maintaining an organized workspace and cross-training to assist in different work areas.
- Follow all established safety, environmental, and quality policies to maintain a high standard of production.
Skills and Experience
What You’ll Bring as a Preferred Candidate:
- High School Diploma or GED (Required)
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical schematics, blueprints, and assembly instructions.
- Ability to effectively use precision measurement tools, including tape measures.
- A strong focus on quality and detail-oriented craftsmanship.
- Familiarity with general mechanical, electrical, or hydraulic systems is highly valued.
- Basic computer literacy and a willingness to learn internal operating systems.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with team members.
