Job Summary
We are currently hiring Order Selectors for a Temp-to-Hire opportunity in a cold storage/refrigerated warehouse environment. This is a great opportunity for an experienced warehouse professional who is dependable, punctual, and ready to work in a fast-paced produce and distribution environment.
Order Selectors will be responsible for accurately selecting and filling customer orders, staging completed orders, and safely moving products throughout the warehouse.
Shift: Sunday – Friday | 4:00 PM until finish
Overtime: Unlimited overtime available
Key Responsibilities
- Select and fill customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Stage completed orders for delivery
- Operate a pallet jack safely
- Move and organize products throughout the warehouse
- Lift and handle products weighing up to 50 pounds
- Follow order sheets, instructions, and warehouse procedures
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all safety guidelines and procedures
- Work efficiently to meet daily productivity goals
- Assist in other warehouse areas as needed
- Work effectively with team members and supervisors
Skills and Experience
Required Skills & Experience
- Minimum 1 year of previous warehouse experience required
- Previous order selecting experience is a plus
- Forklift experience is preferred but not required
- Willingness to receive forklift and other job-related training
- Experience operating a pallet jack is preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work in a cold storage/refrigerated warehouse environment
- Ability to work a physically demanding, fast-paced shift
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Reliable and punctual attendance
- No attendance issues
- Positive can-do attitude
- Ability and willingness to learn
- Must be comfortable working until the job is finished
