Overview
We are seeking an experienced Electro-Mechanical Technician (Industrial Automation) to join our client's growing team in Melissa, TX. This is a highly skilled, hands-on role supporting a large industrial automation refurbishment project involving high-speed robotic palletizing systems. The ideal candidate has extensive experience with industrial electrical systems, conduit, PLCs, VFDs, mechanical components, and automated manufacturing equipment.
Project Assignment: This is an approximately 5-month contract assignment supporting a major industrial automation refurbishment project. High-performing teammates may have the opportunity to continue beyond the initial assignment based on project demands and future business needs.
- $25.00 to $27.00 hourly

What you'll do as an Industrial Technician:
- Replace and install Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), PLC components, motors, relays, sensors, and other industrial electrical devices
- Perform advanced mechanical assembly and electrical wiring
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical issues
- Read and interpret electrical schematics and mechanical drawings
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe work environment
Skills and Experience
Preferred Candidate Will Have:
- 3+ years of experience as an Electro-Mechanical Technician, Industrial Automation Technician, Controls Technician, Industrial Maintenance Technician, or similar role
- Extensive experience with industrial automation equipment
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Advanced electrical wiring experience
- Working knowledge of PLC-controlled equipment
