Overview
We are hiring a Quality Technician to help ensure products meet customer and company quality standards. This role is responsible for inspecting products, recording results, identifying issues, and supporting continuous improvement in a manufacturing environment.
Job Duties:
- Perform quality inspections on finished products and materials
- Measure parts and verify dimensions using calipers, micrometers, and other inspection tools
- Inspect products for defects, damage, and quality issues
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
- Complete inspection reports and maintain accurate quality records
- Identify and document nonconforming materials or production issues
- Support problem-solving and process improvement efforts
- Communicate quality concerns with production and management teams
Skills and Experience
- Experience in quality control or manufacturing preferred
- Ability to use precision measuring tools
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and basic data entry
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to heat, noise, and metal materials
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of ISO 9001, Lean Manufacturing, or Six Sigma
- Experience with metal fabrication or production processes
