Onin Staffing is hiring dependable Dock Workers for Nest Fresh in Chambersburg, PA. This position is responsible for loading and unloading trailers, staging finished products, moving pallets throughout the warehouse, and ensuring products are shipped accurately and on time. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, dependable, and able to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Dock workers typically use pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment to move product safely and efficiently.
Skills and Experience
- Load and unload trailers safely and efficiently.
- Move finished egg products to designated staging areas.
- Operate electric pallet jacks, pallet wrappers.
- Verify shipments and inspect products for damage before loading.
- Stack, wrap, label, and secure pallets for shipment.
- Maintain accurate inventory and shipping documentation.
- Keep the dock and warehouse clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and company safety procedures.
- Work with shipping, receiving, and production teams to meet daily shipping goals.
- Perform other warehouse duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Previous warehouse or dock experience preferred but not required.
- Pallet Jack experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Reliable transportation and excellent attendance.
