What You’ll Do as a Material Handler:
- Use manual pallet jacks to move, stage, and transport food products throughout the warehouse.
- Select and pull food products according to customer orders and shipping requirements.
- Assist with unloading incoming food shipments and organizing products for storage.
- Move products between freezer, refrigerated, and dry storage areas.
- Verify product quantities and labels to help ensure order accuracy.
- Prepare, organize, and stage completed orders for distribution and shipment.
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse and storage areas.
Skills and Experience
What You’ll Bring as a Preferred Candidate:
- Previous manual pallet jack experience is required.
- Previous warehouse, order selection, food distribution, or material handling experience preferred.
- Comfortable working in freezer, refrigerated, and non-climate-controlled dry storage environments.
- Ability to work in varying temperatures, including below-freezing conditions.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical warehouse duties throughout the shift.
- Dependable, detail-oriented, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to work overtime as needed and remain until daily operations are complete.
