What You'll Be Doing
- Pull, stage, and prepare customer orders with accuracy
- Load lumber, building materials, and other products safely
- Greet and assist customers in the lumber yard and warehouse
- Help customers locate products and answer basic questions
- Receive, unload, and organize incoming inventory
- Stock shelves and maintain inventory throughout the yard
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and safety compliant
- Assist with general warehouse and yard operations as needed
- Work closely with teammates to ensure excellent customer service
- Follow all company safety procedures while working around equipment and materials
Skills and Experience
What We're Looking For
- Previous warehouse, lumber yard, retail, construction, or general labor experience is preferred
- Forklift experience is a plus—but we're willing to train and certify the right person
- Friendly, professional attitude with strong customer service skills
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs. throughout the workday
- Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail and ability to stay organized
- Reliable transportation and excellent attendance
- Team player with a positive work ethic
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
