Overview
Our client is seeking a skilled Millwright to install, maintain, repair, and troubleshoot industrial machinery and mechanical systems. This role ensures equipment is properly aligned, functioning safely, and operating at peak efficiency in a fast-paced industrial environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, assemble, and dismantle industrial machinery and equipment
- Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical systems and components
- Perform preventative maintenance on production equipment
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
- Align, level, and adjust machinery for proper operation
- Use hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments
- Operate rigging equipment to move heavy machinery and parts
- Follow all safety procedures and OSHA standards
- Document maintenance and repair work as required
Skills and Experience
Qualifications
- Prior millwright or industrial maintenance experience preferred
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Experience using hand tools, welding equipment, and rigging gear
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physically demanding work
- Willingness to work in industrial and outdoor environments
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
Work Environment
- Industrial manufacturing or construction setting
- Exposure to noise, heavy equipment, and varying temperatures
- Requires standing, climbing, bending, and lifting throughout the shift
