Associate 2 - Warehouse

Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Production Support Associate to join our team. This role is responsible for supporting daily production, warehouse, and shipping/receiving operations by efficiently transferring materials, compiling parts, coordinating movement of work orders, and maintaining accurate inventory and documentation.

The ideal candidate is organized, safety-focused, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while collaborating with multiple departments including Quality, Warehouse, Materials, and Production.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Receive, verify, and process incoming materials and shipments.
  • Read, understand, and follow work instructions and operational procedures.
  • Support daily production requirements by transferring and compiling parts efficiently and accurately.
  • Coordinate the movement of materials and work orders throughout the facility.
  • Work closely with Quality, Warehouse, Materials, and Production teams to meet operational goals and deadlines.
  • Audit and prepare parts in an efficient manner while maintaining accuracy and quality standards.
  • Communicate professionally with supervisors, managers, customers, and internal departments regarding shipment and part status.
  • Coordinate with offsite personnel regarding transportation and movement of work orders.
  • Assist in identifying process improvements and operational efficiencies.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and quality requirements.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.


Skills and Experience

Required

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred.
  • Previous experience in a warehouse, production, shipping, or receiving environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Outlook and Excel.
  • Basic math and accurate counting skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred

  • Forklift experience or certification.
  • Experience using SAP or similar ERP systems.
  • Shipping, receiving, inventory control, or logistics experience.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
  • Ability to stand, walk, stoop, and bend throughout the workday.
  • Ability to perform repetitive motions with hands and arms.
  • Ability to walk and stand on concrete floors for extended periods.
  • Ability to safely operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment.
