Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Production Support Associate to join our team. This role is responsible for supporting daily production, warehouse, and shipping/receiving operations by efficiently transferring materials, compiling parts, coordinating movement of work orders, and maintaining accurate inventory and documentation.
The ideal candidate is organized, safety-focused, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while collaborating with multiple departments including Quality, Warehouse, Materials, and Production.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Receive, verify, and process incoming materials and shipments.
- Read, understand, and follow work instructions and operational procedures.
- Support daily production requirements by transferring and compiling parts efficiently and accurately.
- Coordinate the movement of materials and work orders throughout the facility.
- Work closely with Quality, Warehouse, Materials, and Production teams to meet operational goals and deadlines.
- Audit and prepare parts in an efficient manner while maintaining accuracy and quality standards.
- Communicate professionally with supervisors, managers, customers, and internal departments regarding shipment and part status.
- Coordinate with offsite personnel regarding transportation and movement of work orders.
- Assist in identifying process improvements and operational efficiencies.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and quality requirements.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Skills and Experience
Required
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, production, shipping, or receiving environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Outlook and Excel.
- Basic math and accurate counting skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred
- Forklift experience or certification.
- Experience using SAP or similar ERP systems.
- Shipping, receiving, inventory control, or logistics experience.

- Ability to safely operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment.
