Position Overview
We are seeking a reliable, energetic, and customer-focused Warehouse Associate to join our team. This position combines warehouse operations, customer service, and furniture handling. If you enjoy staying active, helping customers, and working in a fast-paced environment, we'd love to hear from you!
Responsibilities
- Greet, interact with, and assist customers in the warehouse
- Load and unload merchandise into customer vehicles
- Assist subcontracted movers with furniture moves
- Receive, inspect, and organize incoming and outgoing merchandise
- Complete and submit required paperwork accurately
- Assemble, maintain, repair, and stock home furnishings and décor
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and company standards throughout the warehouse
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Skills and Experience
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Organized with good time management skills
- Professional demeanor and positive attitude
- Ability to remain calm and patient in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to learn and take initiative
- Ability to lift and move at least 50 lbs regularly
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Experience
- Customer service experience
- Furniture handling, moving, or warehouse experience
- Experience assembling furniture or home décor items
