Overview
The Large Equipment Operator is responsible for safely operating heavy-capacity industrial forklifts and material handling equipment to move, load, unload, stage, and transport concrete products and raw materials throughout the production facility and storage yard. This position plays a critical role in supporting production schedules, maintaining inventory accuracy, ensuring timely customer shipments, and upholding strict safety standards in a fast-paced industrial environment.
Skills and Experience
2+ years of industrial forklift or heavy equipment operating experience preferred.
Experience operating large-capacity forklifts in manufacturing, concrete, precast, steel, lumber, or construction material environments preferred.
Ability to read load charts and shipping documentation.
Strong attention to safety and equipment care.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Basic computer or inventory tracking experience preferred.
