What You’ll Do As A Lead Industrial Maintenance Technician:
  • Responsible for maintaining and repairing recycling and industrial processing equipment, compact heavy equipment, and light trucks to support safe and productive operations. 
  • Lead and support maintenance technicians in daily repair and maintenance activities.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot complex mechanical and electromechanical issues independently.
  • Read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, charts, and diagnostic software.
  • Read, troubleshoot, and program basic PLC instructions to improve equipment performance and plant monitoring.
  • Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on:
  • Hydraulic systems
  • Conveyor systems
  • Balers and compactors
  • Sorting screens, optical sorters, magnets, and eddy current systems
  • Electrical systems and engines
  • Compact heavy equipment and light-duty trucks

Skills and Experience

What You’ll Bring As A Preferred Candidate
  • Strong knowledge of industrial maintenance, mechanical systems, hydraulics, and electrical troubleshooting.
  • Experience with conveyor systems, balers, compactors, and recycling or manufacturing equipment preferred.
  • Ability to troubleshoot PLCs and electromechanical systems.
  • Leadership experience or ability to lead and mentor technicians.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize maintenance schedules.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Welding and fabrication experience is a plus.
