Overview
Ōnin Staffing is hiring an experienced Forklift Operator – Receiving for a furniture manufacturing facility in Clayton, NC. This role is responsible for receiving materials, staging inventory, and picking orders to support production. Candidates must have strong forklift experience and be looking for a long-term opportunity.
Responsibilities:
- Receive incoming materials and verify accuracy against purchase orders.
- Load and unload trucks using a forklift.
- Transport and stage materials within the warehouse.
- Pick and prepare orders for production (furniture components and parts).
- Ensure materials are delivered to the correct production areas on time.
- Maintain organized inventory and storage areas.
- Perform routine equipment checks and follow safety procedures.
- Assist with general warehouse duties as needed.
Skills and Experience
- Minimum of 3+ years of forklift experience required.
- Experience in receiving, inventory, or production support.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to lift, stand, and move throughout the shift.
- Dependable with a strong work ethic and interest in long-term employment.
