Overview
Ōnin Staffing is hiring Warehouse Associates / Sorters / Forklift Operators to support operations at a company focused on secure and environmentally responsible electronics recycling. This is a hands-on, fast-paced role with opportunities to work in different areas of the warehouse.
- Monday to Friday.
- 1st shift: 7:30am to 4pm.
- Pay rate: $17.43-19.00/hr.
Responsibilities:
Warehouse / General Labor:
- Perform general warehouse duties including moving, organizing, and staging materials.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Assist with various tasks to support daily operations.
Sorting & Inspection:
- Sort electronics (computers and related equipment) into categories.
- Fully functional units.
- Screen inspection.
- Keyboard inspection.
- Other classifications as needed.
- Perform basic visual inspections to determine condition and category.
- Ensure accurate sorting to support downstream processing.
Forklift / Shipping & Receiving:
- Operate forklifts to load and unload trucks.
- Move materials throughout the warehouse efficiently.
- Support a fast-paced shipping and receiving department.
- Verify shipments and assist with inventory movement.
Skills and Experience
- Previous warehouse, sorting, or forklift experience.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail, especially for sorting tasks.
- Ability to lift, stand, and move throughout the shift.
- Flexibility to work in different departments as needed.
- Team-oriented with a strong work ethic.
