Job Summary:
Onin Staffing is seeking a reliable Mechanic to assist with the disassembly and inspection of electric motors. This role is ideal for someone with mechanical aptitude who is comfortable working with tools and handling equipment in a shop environment.
Responsibilities:
- Disassemble electric motors, pumps, and related equipment for repair or rebuild
- Inspect components for wear, damage, or defects
- Use hand and power tools to safely break down mechanical parts
- Clean and prepare parts for repair, replacement, or reassembly
- Follow work instructions, diagrams, and safety procedures
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Assist with reassembly and testing as needed
Requirements:
- Previous mechanical or hands-on experience preferred (automotive, industrial, or similar)
- Ability to use basic hand and power tools
- Strong attention to detail and safety
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a shop environment
- Dependable with good work ethic and attendance
