We are currently seeking reliable and hardworking individuals for a General Labor position in a cold storage facility handling fresh flowers. This role is fast-paced and requires attention to detail, consistency, and the ability to work in a chilled environment.
Skills and Experience
Job Responsibilities:
- Handling, sorting, and preparing fresh flowers for distribution
- Packaging and labeling floral products
- Loading and unloading shipments
- Maintaining quality control to ensure flowers remain fresh and undamaged
- Keeping work areas clean and organized
- Following all safety guidelines in a cold storage environment
Work Environment:
- Cold storage facility (typically 34–40°F)
- Fast-paced warehouse setting
- Requires standing for long periods and repetitive movement
Requirements:
- Ability to work in cold temperatures for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 30–50 lbs
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Willingness to work long hours, including overtime
- Previous warehouse or general labor experience preferred but not required
