What You’ll Do as a Packer:
- Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards before packaging
- Remove and separate any defective or damaged items
- Pack products into the correct packaging based on specifications
- Seal boxes securely and ensure they are properly labeled
- Stack boxes onto pallets following correct patterns and quantities
- Keep your work area clean, organized, and safe throughout the shift
- Communicate any product quality or equipment concerns to your team lead
- Complete required paperwork and production tracking accurately
- Support other areas of the department as needed to keep operations flowing
- Follow all safety guidelines, procedures, and production standards
Skills and Experience
What You’ll Bring as a Preferred Candidate:
- Previous manufacturing or production experience is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and ability to spot defects quickly
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-output environment
- Ability to stand for extended periods and stay active throughout your shift
- Basic math and reading skills for counting, labeling, and documentation
- Ability to manage multiple production lines or machines with minimal assistance
- Team-oriented mindset with reliable attendance and strong work ethic
