What You’ll Do as a Sit-Down Forklift Operator:
- Safely operate a sit-down forklift to move raw materials and finished goods throughout the facility
- Load and unload trucks while ensuring product accuracy and proper handling
- Supply production lines with materials to keep operations running smoothly
- Perform routine equipment checks and report any issues promptly
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Track inventory movements using basic documentation or scanning systems
- Follow all safety protocols and company procedures at all times
Skills and Experience
What You’ll Bring as a Preferred Candidate:
- Previous experience operating a sit-down forklift in a manufacturing or warehouse setting
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
- Ability to work a rotating 12-hour continental schedule (including weekends)
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, production-driven environment
- Reliable attendance and a team-first mindset
- Basic math and reading skills for inventory tracking and documentation
- Ability to lift, move, and handle materials as needed throughout your shift
