Overview
Job Summary:
The Housekeeper/Janitor is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in commercial facilities. This role ensures a safe, clean, and organized environment for employees and visitors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, offices, and common areas
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and maintain floors
- Empty trash and replace liners
- Dust and wipe down surfaces, furniture, and fixtures
- Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap, and toilet paper
- Follow safety procedures when using cleaning chemicals and equipment
- Report any maintenance or safety concerns
- Complete assigned tasks in a timely and efficient manner
Skills and Experience
Requirements:
- Previous cleaning or janitorial experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift as needed
- Reliable transportation and good attendance
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
Work Environment:
- Commercial buildings, offices, or industrial facilities
- May include day, evening, or weekend shifts
