Overview
Summary
Responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, performing cycle counts, and supporting efficient warehouse operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct cycle counts and reconcile inventory discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate ERP inventory records.
- Identify and support process improvements to reduce errors.
- Ensure proper material labeling and organization (5S).
- Coordinate with warehouse, materials, and customer service teams to resolve issues.
- Assist with audits, Kaizen events, and receiving processes.
- Operate warehouse equipment safely (forklift, pallet jack).
- Train team members on inventory procedures as needed.
SCHEDULE:
Standard working hours are Monday – Friday, 8am to 4:30pm. As business dictates there may be the need to work outside of these hours, including Saturdays.
Skills and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Intermediate Computer Skills
- Bilingual, English/Spanish
- 1 year or more of fork truck driving experience and current certification (in-house certification available if needed).
- Previous experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, or logistics environment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a safety-focused mindset.
- Experience with cycle counting programs and physical inventory audits
- Preferred:
- Exposure to Lean manufacturing practices and continuous improvement initiatives
