Overview

As a Certification Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring customers receive accurate and compliant documentation. Your responsibilities will include:
• Creating Certificates of Conformance for customer orders using our ERP system.
• Receiving, reviewing, and evaluating Manufacturing Certificates from vendors.
• Maintaining and updating a database of required certificates.
• Monitoring shipping schedules to ensure timely submission of certificates.
• Collaborating with the Sales Department to confirm certification requirements.
• Interpreting and maintaining compliance with governmental and industry regulations, including:
• FAR, ITAR, DFARS, CMMC
• REACH, ROHS
• Buy America, Prop 65
• Conflict Minerals, Affirmative Action
• Identifying anomalies or discrepancies in vendor certifications.
• Building strong partnerships with vendors and customers.
• Supporting the ISO Manager with additional tasks as needed.

Skills and Experience

Preferred Qualifications:
• Associate’s degree or higher preferred.
• Strong command of business English, spelling, and punctuation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to interpret and apply laws, policies, and regulations.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Familiarity with ISO standards.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings (training provided).
• Strong interpersonal skills for working with internal teams, vendors, and customers.
