What You’ll Do as a Digital Press Operator:
- Set up and prepare digital press equipment for daily production runs
- Review job specifications and verify files and proofs before printing
- Operate digital press machines to produce printed materials on various substrates
- Monitor print quality throughout production and make adjustments when needed
- Ensure jobs are completed accurately and within scheduled deadlines
- Perform routine cleaning, preventative maintenance, and minor troubleshooting on equipment
- Track production details such as materials used, job completion, and quantities produced
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure artwork and print files meet production requirements
- Maintain a safe and organized work area while following company safety procedures
Skills and Experience
What You’ll Bring as a Preferred Candidate:
- 3+ years of experience operating digital printing equipment or working as a press operator
- Strong computer skills with experience managing print-ready files
- Knowledge of prepress processes, color accuracy, and print production workflows
- Ability to identify color variations and maintain high-quality print standards
- Mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects under deadlines
- Reliable attendance and ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- High School Diploma or GED required
