What You’ll Do as a Assembly Operator I:
The technician will be responsible for the end-to-end assembly and testing of cable products:
- Production Setup: Checking the shop schedule for "build to print" tasks and reading build packages.
- Technical Assembly: Processing cables, which includes cutting, stripping, crimping, and final assembly.
- Soldering: Performing soldering tasks on headers or wires to PC Boards (PCBs).
- Quality Assurance: Reviewing application specifications and customer drawings for correct pin-outs to ensure standards are met.
- Testing & Packaging: Conducting end-of-line testing to ensure cables meet all quality requirements before final packaging.
Skills and Experience
Candidate Requirements:
Technical Skills:
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings and prints.
- Proficiency with power tools, hand tools, and calipers.
- Experience with soldering tools and techniques.
- Basic electrical knowledge (considered a plus).
Software Skills:
- Efficiency with MS Office and Excel.
Professionalism:
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
