What You'll Do as an Order Selector / Forklift Operator:
- Safely operate a forklift to move and transport large items.
- Load and unload trucks and trailers.
- Accurately stack and organize inventory within the warehouse.
- Perform pre-shift equipment inspections and report any maintenance issues.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area. Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies.
- Perform general warehouse duties as required.
- Work both on and off a forklift as needed
- Requires the ability to pass a forklift assessment.
Skills and Experience
What You'll Bring as a Preferred Candidate:
- Ability to pass a forklift assessment while operating equipment
- Minimum of 6 months of recent forklift operating experience
- Order Selecting and packing experience required
- Proven ability to safely and efficiently operate a forklift
- Experience handling large items is highly preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Reliable attendance with the ability to report on time for all scheduled shifts with a strong work ethic
