Overview
We’re looking for an experienced Occupational Maintenance Technician! This role is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining mechanical and electrical/electronic equipment across the facility. The ideal candidate is hands-on, safety-focused, and skilled in preventative maintenance, ensuring that all systems operate efficiently and safely.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform daily, weekly, and monthly preventative maintenance in assigned areas.
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain mechanical and electrical/electronic equipment.
- Install or remove equipment efficiently and safely.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Respond to plant emergencies such as equipment malfunctions, Haz-Mat incidents, or severe weather situations.
- Follow all Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.
- Complete required maintenance documentation for all work orders and checklists.
- Assist with special projects or duties as assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor or Manager.
Skills and Experience
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 2+ years of experience in maintenance, including mechanical, electrical, carpentry, plumbing, or HVAC systems.
- Basic welding experience.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Must possess or be able to obtain tools necessary for the job.
- Knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and industrial equipment.
- Valid Driver’s License.
Preferred:
- Experience with pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
